Magnetic filter inserts are an effective complement to bag and cartridge filters when the liquid to be filtered contains magnetic particles that are smaller than the filtration rate of the bag or cartridge.
In the series of images below, the magnetic insert for the bag filter can be seen in the first image from the left. The insert is available with one or three magnetic rods. Bag holder may need to be adjusted, if the existing filter is to be supplemented with a magnetic insert.
The next picture shows the final assembly of a Ramson cartridge filter 31-01 for 1 cartridge, 20" which has been completed with a magnetic rod.
We also have the Ramson automatic filter 41-03 MAG in the works, where our robust filter with slotted wire element is to be supplemented with a magnet that works in unison with the reverse flushing.
