Scam Disc Filters

Ramson can provide disc filters in cooperation with Scam Filtres in France. Scam manufactures manual, semi automatic and fully automatic disc filters for self lubrication high viscous fluids. 

Applications: Scam filters are suitable for oil, tar, glue, paint and various resins.    

Filtration level:  50 µm to 1 000 µm (20 µm on demand for suitable applications).  

Flow: 0,2 m3/h to 200 m3/h. (Higher flows on demand for suitable applications.)

Scam filters can be manufactured in different materials such as carbon steel, brass and stainless steel.  

In a Scam filter, the fluid passes through a metallic disc element. The filration level is determined by the distance between the discs. Dirt caught by the discs will be scraped off by the opposing disc and will fall to the bottom of the sump and can be drained manually or automatically. The movemnet of the discs can also be either manual or motorised.
